Two weeks ago, we introduced you to Rolling Coast with the hexcrawl for the region. With this second content drop, we’re expanding the setting with a central friendly settlement, three more factions (making six in total!), adventure hooks, and a job board.
Welcome to Snackburg!
Snackburg is the central friendly settlement of Rolling Coast, located inside the walls of the food court. It comes fully keyed with locations of interest to explore. You can pop into the Oily Olive for a drink or conversation, take a job from the Mayor’s job board, brave the abandoned town of Pantryville, join the worshippers in the Temple of the Everlasting Wheel, browse the local shops, or rest your head in the exclusive Lofty Burrow.
In addition to Snackburg, we’re adding three more factions and fleshing out the original three from the hexcrawl. Now you’ll need to watch out for the Coven of Corvessa, you could help the Squirrel Scouts with their deliveries, and you can find out what the Fellowship of the Everlasting Wheel are trying to achieve.
To round this release out, we have added in a table of d6 adventure hooks and d6 jobs on the Mayor’s job board. The adventure hooks are going to connect with the adventures that we are working on for future releases, and the job board acts as a set of side-quests - small tasks that aren’t full adventures, but will provide some fun for your players and a chance to gain some extra pips, loot, and experience.
As usual, you can download the full package below in A5 and US sizes, in both singles and spreads. We have also included a separate unlabelled, one-page map of Snackburg for your players to explore.
Our next release is going to include a bestiary, key NPCs, and spells that come with some of the characters. After that, we’ll be releasing the first fully-realised adventure site for Rolling Coast!
