New d6 TTRPG system (and a place to use it!)

Hey folks,

Matthew and I don’t only work with Mausritter (although that is certainly where we spend most of our energy), and today I want to announce something that fits into the broad “not Mausritter” category of my work.

I recently created a new system for running and creating TTRPGs. It is called Roll Up!, and is designed to be a simple and versatile system, allowing you to create tabletop roleplaying games that can be used for group games or solo games, including games with a GM and those without.

You can read more and download Roll Up! for free here: Roll Up! by Hugh Lashbrooke

The mechanics use only one type of die (a d6) and it comes with extensive tables to quickly run an impromptu game, or create something brand new using the Roll Up! mechanics as the base.

I’m so excited about seeing people use this system, that I have set up a game jam for folks to create and submit their Roll Up! games. You can find the jam here on Itch: Roll Up! Game Jam - itch.io

At the end of the jam, I’ll add all the submission into a pay-what-you-want bundle, with revenue split between all the included creators. You can choose to opt out of the bundle if you like, but it’s a great way to earn a little extra while getting your work into the hands of people who wouldn’t normally see it.

I’ve also created a tabletop racing game using Roll Up! called Rolling Raceway - it’s a ton of fun to play, and you can get it here for free: Rolling Raceway by Hugh Lashbrooke

I hope you enjoy playing and creating with Roll Up!
