_We recently had a large influx of members into Tiny Tails community - all the backers of the [Rolling Coast BackerKit campaign](https://www.backerkit.com/c/projects/manadawn-tabletop-games/rolling-coast-a-mausritter-adventure-collection) received their backer rewards, including a few months of membership to Tiny Tails. Welcome everyone!_ This week’s release is one of my favourite characters I’ve created in a while, with artwork by my daughter, Rachel Lashbrooke, age 12: ## Vrögbert the Forgetful Mage **Vrögbert Leopold Croakness** will forget his own name if he doesn’t say it for a while. He might be a powerful mage, but **no one is quite sure** whether he actually is or not. He forgets where he puts his spells, how they work, or even how to read them, so his power **doesn’t really manifest all that often**. He wasn’t always this way - by all accounts, his forgetfulness started **sometime during his sixth winter** , but he doesn’t really remember. It may have just been his age, a knock to the head, or even the result of a rival mage’s curse - Vrögbert has **no way of knowing**. _[Paying members can find the full character details here.](https://tinytails.community/t/downloads-for-role-call-10-vrogbert-the-forgetful-mage/741)_ **Here’s a free preview of Vrögbert the Forgetful Mage:** ![Vrögbert the Forgetful Mage Preview](https://tinytails.community/uploads/default/original/1X/277edcb049770ba8916c8c4ec6e070d1e394785c.jpeg) **The full character includes:** - Unique custom artwork - Character stats - An interesting backstory - Mechanics for Vrögbert’s moments of memory recall - Details and mechanics for Vrögbert’s cone hat - d10 reasons Vrögbert lost his memory **Paying members can find the full character details here:** **[Downloads for Role Call #10: Vrögbert the Forgetful Mage](https://tinytails.community/t/downloads-for-role-call-10-vrogbert-the-forgetful-mage/741)** > 🐁 [Join on Patreon](https://www.patreon.com/tinytails/membership)to gain access to all members-only content. ---

Since it’s likely far too subtle to be noticed, I’d like to point out that Vrögbert’s initials are VLC, a nod to the VLC Media Player that has a traffic cone as its icon.
